Emily Baird

Bio

Emily graduated from Ohio Unviersity in 2008 with a major in broadcast journalism, a minor in meteorology, and a specialization in geography. Originally from Poland, OH, she spent two years forecasting for Scalia Lab. She also served as head weather coordinator and producer for WOUB’s NewsWatch during 2007-2008. In addition to anchoring weather on NewsWatch, she produced newscasts, reported, and anchored news this past summer. Emily hopes to continue her education by obtaining a broadcast meteorology degree through Mississippi State University.
