Most of the southern Great Lakes and Ohio Valley Region, including Athens and surrounding area.
When
Storms are expected to move in a line from Indiana and race across Ohio through the afternoon. Severe storms are expected to move through Athens around 5-6pm, before continuing eastward.

What
The main threat is very strong severe winds along the line of thunderstorms. Some gusts could be in excess of 80 mph with the strongest storms. An extremely isolated tornado is also possible along and just ahead of the main line of storms.
How to prepare
-Make sure that all loose objects that are easily blown are taken inside and properly tied down well before the storms passing
-Prepare a storm preparedness kit including a weather radio, am/fm radio, bottled water, and food incase the power were to go out.
-PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO LOCAL MEDIA OUTLETS AND WEATHER SOURCES
-HAVE YOUR WEATHER RADIO TURNED ON
-Stay indoors and away from windows, common severe storm practice, during the storms passing.
