Bio
Nicole is a junior majoring in meteorology and minoring in math and physics. She hails from Cleveland, OH and proudly represents Mentor High School's class of 2007. Nicole was an on-air forecaster at WOUB-TV in 2008-09. Next summer, the NOAA Hollings Scholarship will allow her to intern in Miami, FL where she will work with the storm surge team at the National Hurricane Center. She is a student member of the American Meteorological Society, secretary of Gamma Theta Upsilon National Honors Society in Geography, and treasurer of the OU Meteorology Club/AMS Chapter.
Nicole would like to build upon her experience in Florida by studying meteorology and physical oceanography as a graduate student at the University of Miami, but is still very open-minded about her career and education options.
In her free time, Nicole is a resident assistant and also enjoys working as an ice skating instructor at Bird Arena. She is part of the OU Synchronized Skating team, and loves Dunkin' Donuts, stringed instruments, Lake Erie, rock concerts, and napping.
