Darren Snively

Bio

Darren is a junior from Vandalia, Ohio majoring in Geography-Meteorology. He is in his first year of forecasting for Scalia Lab. In addition to forecasting for Scalia, he also works at WOUB, the campus television station. He is in his second year of being an on-air forecaster there, where his weekly weather forecasts reach the viewers of southeast Ohio. He is also a student member of the American Meteorological Society and a severe weather spotter for the National Weather Service offices in Wilmington, OH and Charleston, WV. After Ohio University, he plans on attending Ohio State University’s atmospheric science graduate program. Darren would like to work for the National Weather Service or a television outlet in the Midwest after college.
