Biography
Elise is currently a senior at Ohio University majoring in meteorology with a minor in communications. She grew up in Sharon Center, a small town just outside Medina, OH and graduated with honors from Our Lady of the Elms High School in 2008. Elise is the Secretary for the Ohio University AMS Student Chapter as well as a trained storm spotter for the Charleston, WV and Cleveland, OH NWS. She is a student member of both the American Meteorological Society (2009), and the National Weather Association (2010). Elise recently spent the summer interning with meteorologists from WEWS News Channel 5 in Cleveland, OH. She has been an on-air forecaster at WOUB-TV for the past two years and hopes to build on this experience to pursue a career in broadcast meteorology. After receiving her BS from Ohio University, Elise plans to attend graduate school at Mississippi State University.

In her free time, Elise likes to play sports, mainly volleyball, and attend Zumba workouts at Ping. She also likes to listen to music, watch movies, hang out with friends and be outside.
