Biography
Cody Jones is a senior from Marion, Ohio majoring in Meteorology with a Mathematics minor at Ohio University. He graduated from Marion Harding High School in 2008. Cody is also part of the AMS Chapter of the Ohio University Meteorology Club and a member of the American Meteorological Society. His interests are severe weather, including tornadoes, hail, hurricanes, and winter storms. Climatologically speaking, he finds the ENSO, NAO, AO, and other atmospheric oscillations fascinating. His future academic and career goals include earning a Master's Degree in Atmospheric Science or related field and working for either the National Weather Service or private industry, though he is open to other career options.
In his free time, Cody enjoys playing the piano, hiking, and spending time with his family and his fiancee, Lauren.
