Biography
Alex is an Ohio University junior majoring in meteorology with
emphasis in geography. From Defiance, OH, he always has had interest
in weather as his parents called him "The Little Weather Boy" as a
young child. His main interests in weather include hurricane events
and severe weather, especially associated with lightning. Alex has
recently been conducting research, exploring trends and developing
hypotheses for lightning data that occurs in any typical thunderstorm
or severe event. He is also the outreach chair for OUCAMS at Ohio
University.
In his free time, Alex enjoys bowling, spending time with friends and
family, and watching sports. Future plans include graduate school and
possibly working for the National Weather Service.
